Woman Sentenced for Bringing Drugs from Oregon to Distribute in Idaho

The woman, 41 year old Nicole Ann Kettler, is from Michigan and has a history of purchasing large quantities of meth and fentanyl in Oregon and bringing it across the border into Idaho for distribution. Kettler was sentenced to 139 months in federal prison.

In May of 2024, Kettler was stopped for a traffic violation. Officers noted drug paraphernalia in her car, and a police canine alerted to drugs in the car. Inside the vehicle officers found thousands of fentanyl pills, powder, and meth.

Other controlled substances were found in the vehicle, but not specified in the news release.

Kettler admitted to police that she ‘frequently travelled to Portland to purchase significant quantities of methamphetamine and fentanyl for distribution in Idaho’.

The news release was sent out on June 6th on the Department of Justice webpage for the District of Idaho.
