
Fatal Rollover Truck Accident on Southern Idaho Highway West of Twin Falls
A fatal accident was reported on Friday morning by the Idaho State Police after a truck driver lost control of his vehicle, causing it to roll into a private yard near the highway.
The accident happened around 10:15 AM near mile marker 185 on US30, near Hagerman. There were no other vehicles, injuries, or fatalities reported in the accident.
Idaho State Police Report Fatal Rollover Truck Accident on Highway 30
In the Idaho State Police report, it states:
- A 57-year- old man from Hagerman was driving westbound on US30 in a white 2015 Ford F-350 pickup truck.
- The driver drifted and scraped a guardrail next to the westbound travel lane.
- He then over-corrected to the left and lost control of his vehicle.
- He crossed to the eastbound lanes, ran off the road, and overturned.
- The vehicle came to rest on its top on private property next to the highway.
The driver was wearing his seatbelt when the crash happened, but he passed away at the scene of the accident. The incident is being investigated by the Idaho State Police.

On the Idaho 511 website and app, it shows that there is bridge maintenance happening in the same location, or very near, the rollover accident. Both directions of Highway 30 are impacted by the ‘Gridley Bridge deck surface overlay’ work.
Speed and vehicle size restrictions are in effect, and the roadwork is expected to last until November 30th, 2025.
