Cute: Idaho’s Favorite Puppy Breed For National Pet Day
Today is National Pet Day, and if you have a pet you have probably had an opportunity to share a picture of it on social media today. Let’s be honest, if you have a pet you probably share more pictures of it than you do of your children.
For the pet celebration holiday, we found a story that dove into which puppies are the favorite in each state. For Idaho, the breed makes sense and is definitely adorable.
Border Collies were named as the most popular breed of puppy in Idaho. The choice makes sense because they are super cute and they grow up to be great dogs for farm work. The American Kennel Club says the dogs are affectionate, smart, and energetic.
Utah also has Border Collie as their puppy of choice, as seen in a graphic from Shane Co. below. You can also see the puppy choice for every state based on the top 28 most popular breeds and Google data.
Are you surprised at any of the favorite puppy choices? If Idaho didn’t choose Border Collie, what would be the next best choice?
