Boy Hit by Truck in Southern Idaho Transferred to Idaho Falls, Fundraiser Started
On Saturday evening, a 7-year-old boy named Blaze was riding his bike in the city of Paul when he was hit by a truck. Blaze lives with his mother in Burley and was visiting his dad when the accident happened.
He was taken to a hospital in Rupert and then transferred to Idaho Falls once he had stabilized enough for transport. He has a fractured skull, severe concussion, and possibly a fractured hip. A fundraiser has been established for those wanting to assist.
Details from a GoFundMe say the accident happened near 200 W in Paul, and a social media post online says the truck had four male occupants.
A recent social media post is hopeful that Blaze is recovering well and could be allowed to go home on Tuesday.
