Rebecca Marie Lavatta and Kristen Nichole Meyer will each serve time in federal prison for ‘possession with intent to distribute fentanyl’ in non-related cases. The women will serve more than 10 years combined time and were found with 17,000 fentanyl pills between the two of them.
Each woman received a different sentence time for their crimes, as can be seen below, along with the details of their crimes.
Idaho Falls Woman Rebecca Lavatta Sentenced For Fentanyl Possession With Intent
Rebecca Marie Lavatta is a convicted felon and has a history of making bad choices as East Idaho News reported on a previous arrest in 2023 where officers recognized her from an active warrant. Her latest crime for possession with intent to distribute fentanyl earned her 78 months in federal prison followed by 5 years of supervised release.
The DOJ shared the details of her crimes and arrest:

Idaho Inmate Convicted and Sentenced For Fentanyl Possession Listed on Jail Babes
An Idaho inmate ‘currently riding out an indictment in Jefferson County Jail in Rigby’ named Rebecca Lavatta has a profile on the Jail Babes website. If she’s the same Rebecca who was just sentenced to 6 and a half years in federal prison, she’s going to be disappointed that she won’t get to go shopping, eat Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, traveling, or going to 5 star restaurants and casinos - as those are the things she listed as things she loves but don’t coincide with the incarcerated lifestyle.
The profile, which says you can become her pen pal and contact her through Getting Out, says she used to be a hair stylist and ‘Can be a sweetheart’ though, her criminal record makes us doubt that last statement.

She also should update her page as she seemed pretty hopeful she’d be released by February 23rd, 2025. Yeah, nope.
