The social media report is an effort by the Twin Falls Police Department to be transparent about the work they are doing in the community. A few of the surprise numbers are the total calls for service and the number of hit-and-run accidents that happened in July in Twin Falls.
Another statistic that has surprised residents is the small percentage of traffic stops that resulted in citations. The TFPD says the majority of traffic stops resulted in education and warnings rather than tickets.

In the social media post from the Twin Falls Police Department, they also asked what other stats the community would like to see.
Some of those include domestic violence calls, suicides, murders, child abuse, DUI arrests, drug-related calls, and school bus arm-stop violations when school starts.
