Wind Advisory Issued For The Magic Valley And More Snow Coming
A new weather alert has been issued for areas of Southern Idaho and Oregon by the National Weather Service.
More Wind And Snow Coming To The Magic Valley Thursday and Friday
The Wind Advisory was issued on Wednesday afternoon for south central and southwest Idaho and southeast Oregon. The advisory will be in effect from Thursday afternoon starting at 5 PM until Friday evening at 11 PM. Strong winds are expected during that timeframe with gusts up to 55 miles per hour and constant winds between 25 and 35 miles per hour. Constant winds of that strength with powerful gusts could cause damage to homes and trees. Outdoor items, such as trampolines, umbrellas, swings, and chairs should be secured or placed in a safe place.
Wicked Winds and Winter Weather Headed Towards The Magic Valley
Besides the strong winds over the next few days, Southern Idaho is also expected to get a new layer of snow. Starting this evening, snow showers are expected every night through Friday. The National Weather Service is also watching a potential winter storm that could hit us Thursday night and carry into Friday morning.

The snow should be done by Friday night and Saturday, Sunday, and Monday are all expected to be sunny days with highs in the mid to upper 40s.
