These Are the 5 New License Plates in Idaho
A few months ago, I went to the DMV to register a car I had just bought. While there, the lady working at the DMV desk told me about the new Idaho Gadsden Flag license plate and that there were a few others that were scheduled to come out over the next few months.
That time is here.
What Do the 5 New Idaho License Plates Look Like?
The Gadsden Flag license plate has been available for a few months, and I love how it looks. The other license plates (there are 4 more) weren’t available when I wrote about them in late March. I only had written descriptions of what they would look like based on the information from the legislation papers for each plate.
But now we have pictures of what they will all look like, and when you can get them.

The timeline for releasing each of these plates had been interesting. When I learned about the Gadsden plate at the DMV, I was told they were still gathering signatures to make it happen, but a few days later, I saw a truck with it.
The other 4 plates: An Appeal to Heaven, a teal and white Idaho Potatoes plate, and a black and white Idaho Potatoes plate, were released a few days ago. The black and white retro plate is my favorite of the new plates. A new addition that I didn’t know about and that is available now is the USS Idaho Submarine plate.

Depending on the license plate choice, there may be additional fees, and the text can be personalized. But as we know, not all specialized license plate requests get approved. Here are some of the worst from last year.
