UPDATE: The man who was shot was transported by personal vehicle to the hospital and police are looking for a heavy-set black male as their suspect. Police believe the fight and shooting was an isolated incident.
ORIGINAL STORY: Wednesday night in Twin Falls, police reported a fight and at least one gunshot in the parking lot of Target on Blue Lakes. One person was injured and sent to the hospital.
At 7:50 PM Twin Falls Police responded to a fight in the Twin Falls Target parking lot. They say there was a large group of people and a fight occurred. The police say one adult male was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries but they do not mention a gun in their report on social media:
Big incident at Target parking lot. Group of people fighting. Shots fired. Meds are staging.
Another post asked for information about the incident saying there were at least 20 police cars surrounding the parking lot. Comments state that the police were on the scene within minutes of the fight and alleged shooting.
