The driver of a vehicle in Southern Idaho was killed Thursday morning.

Idaho State Police responded to the accident and released an update online.

Driver Killed in Semi Truck Crash in Southern Idaho

In the report from the Idaho State Police, they state that the accident happened east of Declo on Yale Road at 1875 E Road in Cassia County.

Just after 11:00 a.m. on September 5th, Idaho State Police (ISP) troopers responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Yale Road near the intersection for 1875 Road, east of Declo. A white 2014 Kenworth driven by a 36 year-old-male from Paul, was westbound on Yale Road. The driver failed to negotiate a curve, went off the road, crossed the intersection of 1875 Road, and rolled onto its side. The driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

That section of road is near the #228 access ramps for Interstate 84 and a few miles south of the I84 and I86 split. ISP will investigate the accident.

Idaho State Police are also investigating a deadly accident in Jerome County that happened on August 30th at one of the deadliest intersections in the United States.

5 cars were involved in the accident including 2 cars, 2 trucks, and a small SUV. At this point it is believed that the accident was caused by the driver of the SUV and the driver of one of the cars was killed in the crash.
