Sometimes, not hearing a sound anymore is a good thing. I worked at a fast food restaurant (Apollo Burger in Taylorsville - FYI) in Utah as a teenager, and there was a beeping sound that alerted us when a car was in the drive-thru line. That sound haunted my dreams for years.

Other times, you don’t hear a sound, and it makes you worried, like when children are quiet. If you know they aren't sleeping, it probably means they are being naughty.

This list comes from a video I made about 10 years ago after I was walking through the radio station and heard the fax machine. It scared me because I was the only one in the building, and the machine didn’t get used much, so I assumed it was a ghost.
