UPDATE: Police do Have Suspects in the Recent Murder in Twin Falls
UPDATE: Police have announced that they do have a suspect now in the homicide case:
Charges have been filed on two men related to the homicide that occurred on Capri Drive in the early morning hours of November 16, 2023. The criminal complaint was filed on Monday, November 20, 2023, on 18-year-old Mi"Quavis Dewayne Taylor of Twin Falls and 18-year-old Kaden James Thomson of Twin Falls.

ORIGINAL STORY: On Thursday morning, a Twin Falls man was killed in his yard after confronting a person he found on his property. Police have yet to release much information about the homicide, but a Public Safety News Report on the City of Twin Falls website seems to imply that they have been able to get more helpful information.
In an update on the 2 recent shootings in Twin Falls, the report explains the arrest and charges against the man authorities believe was part of a shooting that happened in the Target parking lot in Twin Falls during a fight. In the same report, it is stated that a second individual was taken into custody on unrelated charges. Just after that, it is stated that police believe they are closer to filing charges for the homicide shooting that happened on Capri Drive Thursday morning.

As a result of that arrest and the subsequent investigation, a second individual was taken into custody on unrelated charges in Ada County. At this time, the Twin Falls Police Department is working closely with the Twin Falls County Prosecutor’s Office and we believe that charges for the shooting that occurred on Capri Drive in the early morning hours of November 16, 2023, are forthcoming. While we are not able to announce that charges have been filed in the Capri Drive shooting as of yet, investigators are now confident that there is no on-going threat to the community.
Are the 2 Recent Shootings in Twin Falls Connected or Related?
There has been speculation that the 2 shootings are related, and possibly the same person. That speculation has not been confirmed by police and any individuals mentioned as suspects so far or in the future are still presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
