Man Charged In Connection To Twin Falls Shooting After Large Fight
Twin Falls Police have made an arrest following a shooting that happened in Twin Falls on August 9th, 2024.
The incident started as a large fight in downtown Twin Falls, followed by reports of shots fired a few blocks away. Shell casings were found at the scene but no victim was found at that time. Less than half an hour later a man checked into the Emergency Room at St. Luke’s in Twin Falls.
Police Make Arrest After Man Injured in Twin Falls Shooting
At the time of the shooting, police were working with the victim and members of the community to identify people involved in the fight and no arrests were made. Police quickly identified one man as being in the area of both incidents, but no arrests were made.
Twin Falls Police have now made an arrest in the case. On August 14th, the TFPD arrested 28-year-old Isaac Jauregui-Ramos in connection to the shooting from August 9th. Ramos was charged with Aggravated Battery but is still considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
The investigation is still open and questions can be directed to the Twin Falls County Prosecutor’s Office.

Twin Falls Police have also begun investigating a separate shooting in Downtown Twin Falls. On August, 15th at 9:18PM they responded to a report of shots fired and found a car with multiple bullet holes in it.
They did not find anyone injured in the car parked near Ketchum and 4th Ave. Police collected evidence from the scene and are investigating the event.
