Fans of the Showtime series ‘Dexter’ are well-acquainted with today’s killer crush – Jennifer Carpenter.

The tall, thin and seductive actress plays Dexter’s tough, foul mouth cop sister Debra on the hit show. The seventh season of ‘Dexter’ premieres Sept. 30, and the new season promises to be a challenging one for Carpenter. (If you’ve kept up with the show, you probably know what we’re talking about.)

Luckily, we’ll get to see a lot of Carpenter on screen this season when ‘Dexter’ returns. Her character is being placed in the spotlight more than ever before. And we’re all for that – she is one of the most striking ladies on cable TC, and that’s saying a lot!

Carpenter is a Kentucky native who trained at Julliard and acted on Broadway and made a name for herself in the biz with memorable turns in movies like ‘The Exorcism of Emily Rose,’ and ‘Quarantine.’ She married ‘Dexter’ co-star Michael C. Hall in 2008, but the pair divorced three years later.

This season on the show, she and Hall, a formerly married couple, are playing (non blood related) siblings who may be in love with each other and are both dealing with a deep dark secret. So we’re thinking days at the office may be a little … awkward.
