Jesse James and Kat Von D Call Off Engagement

Guess Sandra Bullock wasn’t the only woman who failed to tame Jesse James.

James and Kat Von D have broken up and called off their engagement, PEOPLE has reported.

With the amount of traveling both did to keep the relationship alive, the long distance was just too much.

He said, “I’m so sad because I really love her. The distance between us was just too much.”

Von D, 29, shoots her show ‘LA Ink’ in Los Angeles and commutes to and from James’s home outside of Austin, Texas where he lives with his three children, Chandler, 16, Jesse Jr., 14, and Sunny, 7.

The ‘LA Ink’ star became engaged to James, 42, in January and planned a wedding for this summer around the one-year anniversary of when they first started dating.

Their engagement created a buzz in the entertainment world, especially after his shocking breakup with former wife, Sandra Bullock.

Von D took to her Twitter account to confirm the split, writing, “I am no longer w Jesse and out of respect for him, his family and myself, thats all the info I’d like to share. Thanks for respecting that.”
