Lapwai Man Hit and Killed by Car Thursday Night

LAPWAI, Idaho (KLIX)-A 69-year-old man was killed by a car on U.S. Highway 95 Thursday evening in the northern Idaho town of Lapwai. The Idaho State Police said the man from Lapwai, had been in the roadway when he was hit by a Pontiac Grand AM at around 8 p.m. The driver of the car, a 51-year-old woman from Culdesac, was not reportedly injured in the crash. The incident closed the roadway down for more than two hours. It remains under in investigation by ISP.
