Last year was the first time I had ever heard of the LaBelle Lake Ice Palace. Now, it has become one of the most beautiful things I've seen during the otherwise dreary winter months.

LaBelle Lake Ice Palace In Rigby, ID

The LaBelle Lake Ice Palace is built each year in Rigby, Idaho and it is built entirely out of ice. Complete with pathways, arches, towering walls, and icy tunnels: it's everything you would expect from a real palace.

Since the construction of the ice palace is fully dependant on the temperature, there isn't a current opening date. But, the plan/hope is to be open by Christmas. Once open, you can visit the palace in December Monday through Thursday from 5-9 PM, Friday 5-10 PM, and Saturday 4-10 PM. The LaBelle Lake  Ice Palace will be closed Sundays.

Hours are the same in January except they will not be open Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday. February hours are the same as December.
