Moose Forced to Take Really Nice Drugs

Apparently, moose like to lean on stuff.  And according to the Idaho State Journal, this tipsy female did just that… all over Pocatello.

First she found a shady spot to relax between two houses, then vanished like a ninja, then got shot with a good old fashioned tranquilizer before being hauled away in a trailer.

Describing the tranquilizer, wildlife biologist Zack Lockyer says, “It’s a really nice drug we can reverse… She’s back up in the trailer now and (we can) haul her off like a horse and release her somewhere that’s a little more remote than Pocatello.”
