
‘Mamma Mia,’ ‘Grease’ Live Productions Coming To South Idaho
Two of the most successful and beloved musical films ever made will be adapted for the stage this spring, totaling eight productions on the Boise State University campus.
Prepare to move and sing in your seat as a terrific cast of seasoned actors and actresses portrays popular movie characters, including 'Danny Zuko' from Grease and 'Donna' from Mamma Mia. The performances include intermissions, and concessions will be available.
Live musical theater is coming to southern Idaho this spring at the Morrison Center in Boise. Fans of the hit films can relive the excitement through song and dance performed by talented men and women from throughout the world in the months of April and June.

Members of the BSU theater department will perform their rendition of the classic 1978 musical Grease on April 17, 18, and 19. The production will be directed by Professor of Theater Arts Darrin Pufall Purdy. The original theater release starred John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, and Stockard Channing.
Tuesday, June 9, through Saturday, June 13, Boise State welcomes a talented, touring cast of performers taking on the 2008 hit film Mamma Mia. The movie starred Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, and Christine Baranski.
