My Parents Got Me A Valentine’s Day Card

Well maybe not really my parents, but my mother-in-law got my husband and I a Valentine's Day card.  I'm not complaining, but I didn't get her anything.  Should I have?

Is Valentine's Day like Christmas now?  Am I supposed to get everyone a gift for Valentine's Day?
