TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – Secure your trampoline – you could see some strong winds this evening, according to the National Weather Service. A wind advisory is in effect until 9 p.m.

Winds from 30 to 35 mph and gusts of up to 45 mph have developed in the Snake River Basin between Boise and Jerome.

“These winds will spread into the Magic Valley late today and this evening,” reads information from the NWS, “and will only slowly decrease through the night.”

Crosswinds could cause difficult driving conditions on north- and south-oriented roads, with strong winds making it especially difficult for high-profile vehicles.
