I have no babies, but when I was born my Mom was in her early 20s and Pops was in his mid 30s (I know cradle robber).  So all my life, Mom has always told me not to wait too long or else you'll be too tired to raise some youngins.  Well, I'm still kidless and it's on the list of to-do's but still not at the top.  That said, it seems a new study from researchers at the University of Pennsylvania have found that waiting for kids ain't so bad.  More after the jump.

Here's what the researchers found:

The happiness for people 50+:

Older parents were generally happier than their childless peers -- no matter how many kids they had running around the house.

The happiness for people in their 20’s:

Takes a dip even after one child comes into the picture, and dips more and more as each new baby comes along.

The happiness for people in their 30’s:

Just as happy as childless couples -- until they have four or more children. In their 40s, parents are happy until they have more than three children.

So what this research is saying is it's ok to wait to pop out some hellions.
