Paul McCartney to Marry Nancy Shevell This Weekend

Music legend Paul McCartney, 69, will wed New York businesswoman Nancy Shevell at his farm in Sussex, England this weekend.

“It will be a small, intimate wedding,” a source said. “It’s going to be very elegant and classic … They are having a big party in New York to celebrate later on.”

The couple has known each other since 2007. McCartney proposed to Shevell with a $650,000 engagement ring earlier this year.

It will be her second marriage and his third. He was married to his first wife, Linda, for 30 years before her death from cancer in 1998, and his subsequent marriage to Heather Mills ended in a nasty 2008 divorce that reportedly cost McCartney upwards of $50 million.
