Pickup Crashes Into Cliffside, Catches Fire, Clark Fork Man Killed

LUCILE, Idaho (KLIX)-One man was killed when his pickup crashed into a cliffside and burst into flames near Lucile Sunday morning. According to Idaho State Police, emergency crews were called out Sunday at around 10 a.m. for a single-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 95. A late 80s Ford F150 went off the roadway headed south and hit the cliffside then caught on fire. ISP said the 65-year-old driver had not been wearing a seat belt and died on scene. The crash is still under investigation. Traffic was slowed for about two hours.
