Don't Bother Looking For Love At These Places In Idaho

Contrary to what people believe nowadays with many romance seekers being directed to the Internet to find love, dating really hasn't changed. It's still about catching the eye of someone else and not being terrified to speak to a stranger.

If you don't believe that it's still easy to engage with a person face to face in public with the hopes of lighting that spark, then you should try it. I'm happily married, and not the most handsome man in the world, but I still get my ear talked off everywhere I go; maybe I have a welcoming face.

I think trying to meet a person online is crazy and a complete waste of time. Try traveling a bit, like say outside your state line. I'm no love guru, but expanding horizons makes sense when you're desiring to meet new people.

I know people who complain about dating and at the same time have never left Idaho. Maybe the key to finding love is going somewhere you'd never think to go on your own.

Places NOT To Go in Idaho if Your Looking For Love

There are some places that Idahoans looking for their soulmates may want to avoid. There's a reason Johnny Lee released the song 'Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places' in 1980. I mean, just look at that man's grill on that album cover; that's a dude who was looking for love.

One blogger named Livia Johnson had some good advice on where, and where NOT to, try to find a romantic connection. She lists clubs and bars as bad choices, and agrees with me about the Internet.

I'd also include gyms as terrible places to try to make a love connection. I believe that staying in shape (for whatever reason) is these people's number one priority outside of work and home life.

Other places Not to look for love in Idaho, and why:

Rodeos - You might bite off more than you can chew.

Church - Too much gossip, and kids will most certainly be involved.

Hot Springs - These half-naked people are just trying to relax.

Strip Club - Get over yourself

Craigslist - Watch any true crime channel.

Prison - Dates to the yard will get old...fast.
