
Pot Found in Corn Field
JEROME, Idaho (AP) — The Idaho State Police, acting on an anonymous tip, discovered a large marijuana growing operation in a corn field in south-central Idaho. The ISP says detectives located 12 marijuana grow sites in the Gooding County field on Wednesday night. Officers pulled 3,684 plants with an estimated street value of $7 million. Investigators are asking the public for any information they might have about the grow sites call Region 4 ISP at 800-524-7277. The case remains under investigation.
