Pro Hockey Team Visits Children At St. Luke’s Hospital In Boise
Players from of a Texas-based professional hockey team took some time out of their training schedule to visit a hospital in Boise that specializes in treating illnesses and performing surgeries involving young children.
The National Hockey Leagues 2018-19 season begins October 3. Members of the Dallas Stars, who trained in the offseason at The Century Link Arena in Boise, recently visited St. Luke's Children's Hospital.
Star's athletes Gemel Smith and Ty Dellandrea can be seen visiting various children in the hospital, as well as posing for photos. Also featured in the video is Dallas' mascot Victor E. Green.
St. Luke's Children's Hospital in Boise employs more than 150 pediatricians, and 400 nurses, who care for children with life threatening conditions in the Western United States.
