DETOUR: 2 Week Twin Falls Road Seal Project Starts July 8
Twin Falls is under quite a bit of road construction currently. Another project expected to take at least 10 days affecting four city roads began on Tuesday (July 8).
If you've been driving around Twin Falls County recently, then you've seen your share of detour signs. Road improvement projects are currently underway on major thoroughfares like Blue Lakes Boulevard, Kimberly Road, and Washington Street.
Access from Kimberly Road to Park Avenue on the south end of Twin Falls has been closed for a month now due to a waterline break. There must be 200 traffic cones on Kimberley Road alone right now.

Tuesday morning, our Park Avenue office got a notification taped to the door detailing the latest city project. A residential, chip seal project began July 8 and is expected to continue until at least July 21, according to the letter.

Work is expected to cause slowing on Parkview, Grandview, and the corner where Washington merges to Federation Road. The Grandview Park Estates and area near the soccer field will also require slowing in vehicles. Construction will take place between 7:30 A.M. and 7:00 P.M., according to the letter we received.
Drive safe, and keep it slow in these areas.
