Idaho Cemetery Home To Tomb That Reportedly Knocks Back At You
Few places in this world inspire more sorrow and contemplation than a cemetery. They are mysterious, dismal places for most, and some have developed a reputation that draws people to them.
As a teenager, I remember occasionally going to the local cemetery with friends on the weekends late at night just to scare one another. I've always been respectful of the physically departed's final resting place, mainly because I feel as if I'm being watched when I'm there.
A few summers ago, I visited the grave of the famous writer and Idaho resident Ernest Hemingway in the Ketchum area. If you haven't gone, it's a beautiful location and worth the time. There's a memorial pathway in his honor nearby as well.
Other celebrities' gravesites I've paid my respects to include those of the late Motorhead guitarist and singer Lemmy Kilmister, Marilyn Monroe, Dean Martin, Walt Disney, Jimmy Stewart, James Dean, and Nat King Cole. I find cemeteries to be peaceful and strangely fascinating.

The Rose Hill Cemetery is located in Idaho Falls. It's there that some people claim that if you knock on a specific tomb, you'll get a response from its inhabitant, according to boiseghost.org. In 2017, a man recorded himself visiting the gravesite and attempting to knock, but no response resulted.
Perhaps the spirit only responds after dark.
