Horror movie fans, the original Nightmare on Elm Street will be back on the big screen at Magic Valley Cinema 13 for two nights only. I am not sure if it is going to make it scarier, but at least it is going to be dark.

You can watch the original 1984 version of Nightmare On Elm Street on Sunday October 27th or on Wednesday October 30th. This is part of their Flashback Cinema options where they play random classic movies so you can see the magic on the big screen.

Tickets are on sale now, show times are 12:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Sunday October 27th and the same times on October 30th. Ticket prices aren't different for the throwback show. General admission is $9.25, children under the age of 11 are $6.75, Seniors and matinees are both $7.25.

Going to the old school movies are pretty cool. When else are you going to have a chance to see these classic movies in a setting like that. It is like you are back in 1984 watching the movie how it was originally seen. The only problem is you won't be able to unsee some of the best graphics so the gore and cinematic production is going to be kind of cheesy. That is part of the charm though.

With the second day being available the day before Halloween the timing could not be more perfect. I have a friend who wants to bring her kids to the movie. I am not sure I would do that, but I don't have kids. I watched Stephen King's "It" when I was about 8, it didn't traumatize me too badly. Just don't come at me in a clown costume.
