Several Crashes on I-84 Due to Icy Conditions

HAZELTON, Idaho (KLIX) – Several vehicles are involved in accidents on Interstate 84 due to icy road conditions, including a semi-tractor and trailer.

According to an Idaho State Police dispatcher, several vehicles are involved in an accident near milepost 202 east of the Kasota Road exit, including the semi, with several vehicles involved in another accident on the highway farther west.

ISP started receiving calls about accidents around midnight and had several calls throughout the night, the dispatcher said. Most of the calls started coming in during the morning drive hours, about 7:30 a.m. or so.

Avoid the highways, if you can. If not, pay attention and use extreme caution while driving.
