Opinion: People Trashing Idaho’s South Hills Is Infuriating
The South Hills of Idaho is a destination people visit all year long for it's beauty and outdoor appeal.
From hiking, camping, and mountain biking during the summer months, to snowshoeing, Christmas tree hunting, and snowtubing in the colder months, the South Hills have been a region of Idaho that families have packed into cars and trucks for and headed out to for decades.
I have very fond memories of time spent with my wife and kids in the hills. Every November, we try to make it out for some snowtubing and a bonfire. Loaded up with drinks, guns, dogs, and a big bag of fried chicken, we've been cutting our Christmas tree down out there since the early 2000s.

'Pigs', wrote one local. 'So disgusting', said another. 'It’s pretty sad some people expect others to clean up their mess', another responder wrote.
Those of you who routinely pick up litter left by others, keep up the good work, and thanks for keeping Idaho beautiful.
