One of Idaho's most frightening, true stalker cases that nearly had fatal consequences has been featured on a true crime series and is available to stream free of charge.

Stalkers can place a target on the back of anyone, at any time. They can be relentless, and often their desires are so strong they would do almost anything to fulfill their fantasies. One Idaho woman was lucky to survive a brutal attack by a stalker nearly a decade ago.

In 2016, a Boise man was sentenced to 30 years in prison for terrorizing a woman and following through with a plan to execute her in her own home. A true crime, documentary series has released an episode that tells the story of Idaho hairstylist Makaela Zabel-Gravatt.

Christopher Wirfs was 35-years-old when he shot Makaela Zabel-Gravatt in September 2015 in her backyard nearly ending her life. For months he stalker her, harassed her, and plotted to kill her, according to details shared by idahonews.com.

Gravatt survived the ordeal, and now her story has been told by producers of the series Obsession: Dark Desires, which streams on multiple viewing platforms such as Investigation Discovery and Philo. The production is titled, 'The Salon Stalker', and is episode one of season four.
