TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – If you've been wanting to do a good deed lately, there might be something in it for you – such as reduced fines – at the Twin Falls Public Library.

The library, in partnership with South Central Community Action Program, is hosting a Food & School Supply Drive from now through this Saturday, July 23.

In the process of helping out, you can reduce your library fine.

For each non-perishable food item or new unopened school supply item that you bring to the library, you can receive a $1 reduction in library fines up to $25 per account, according to the library.

All of the items collected will be given to SCCAP to disburse to needy families in the area for the upcoming school year.

For information or questions, call the library at 733-2964, ext. 100.
