The Twin Falls School District shared information about the protocols that will be underway during the 2021-222 school year. Come August, when students head back to school, this is how things are going to look.

On Tuesday, August 18th, Servpro and PSI are sponsoring a school supply and non perishable snack drive for CASA.

This is the 11th year that law officers and other employees of the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office participated in “Shop with a Cop,” an annual event that help students get ready for the new school year.

South Central Public Health District is encouraging parents to have their children immunized now to avoid the back-to-school rush.

The last round of closings, announced this past January, totaled 100.

Schools in the Magic Valley don't follow the same schedule. Each school or school district has their own yearly calendar that their students follow.

It's official. Every school in the Magic Valley is back in session. Twin Falls School District has been in session for almost 3 weeks while Xaviar Charter School and Filer School District are just beginning.

UPDATE, Monday August 29th - The Twin Falls School District has just released the following statement. The middle school leadership teams are also exploring the idea of letting students bring clear backpacks to help with carrying supplies and alleviating security concerns.

Today is the first day of school in Twin Falls. So, naturally parents are thinking about bully problems. Parents have every right to be concerned.

However, most Twin Falls parents report spending between $60 to $100 per child this year on school supplies. This adds up fast if you have multiply kids in school.
