Wavebreakmedia Ltd The 38th Annual CSI Cowboy and Cowgirl Boxing Smoker at the CSI Expo Center in Twin Falls is finally here. The fights happen on Saturday, January 31st in the Eldon Evans Expo Center at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls.

Mickey Rourke made a return to boxing in grand style by knocking out a fighter more than half his age in the second round... Just wow!

The words “bare knuckle boxing” probably invoke visions of corny looking old-timey fighters throwing down in tight pants or drunken bar patrons getting stomped by Patrick Swayze in the 1980s film classic Roadhouse.

Two former baseball stars will duke it out in the ring on Saturday in a celebrity boxing match. Lenny Dykstra, 48, and Jose Canseco, 47, will square off in a match that’s left many observers shaking their heads. “Canseco ruined my career by spreading lies,” Dykstra said.

Unless you have formal training in punching things, an arcade boxing machine is not something you should try out in front of other people, as the chance of embarrassment is quite high. That goes double for taking a video of your first attempt at the game, as the two young men in this video so unfortunately learned. (At least we think it's their first time. It has to be.)

Referee Manfred Küchle stopped a WBO super-middleweight title fight between Robert Stieglitz and Khoren Gevor in 10th round after he ruled that Gevor had intentionally head-butted Stieglitz, opening a gash above his right eye.

Saturday, Jan 29th.  The doors will open at 6 p.m. Pre-fight entertainment starts at 7:30 and the matches begin at 8 p.m. Tickets are $30 for ringside, $15 for reserved floor seats or the mezzanine, $13 for reserved bleacher seats, and $10 for general admission...
