A Twin Falls man has decided to push his body to the limit to raise money for the Canyon Ridge High School baseball team. Derek Eccles has decided to raise money and ask people to pledge to his journey however they can. All money raised will go to the Canyon Ridge High School Baseball Team

Living in Twin Falls has many perks. The view is beautiful, there are tons of places to eat, the people are friendly, but one specific perk to the area is having Chobani in town.

A local Twin Falls business is collecting blankets to help keep people in the Magic Valley warm. After they are collected they will be distributed to different organizations throughout the Magic Valley.

Idaho Angels is a non-profit organization that helps southern Idahoans however they can. They have collected clothing, school supplies, money, food, etc. and helped hundreds of people in the process. Right now they are trying to get enough food to help feed families over the holidays.

They fund relief efforts on the local level and worldwide.

The Stuff the Bus event happens a few times every year and it helps children in the area who are in need. Some families can't afford bedding for their children, have been uprooted or a fire caused them to lose things. Whatever the case may be, no child should have to sleep on the floor. The Stuff the Bus Event helps with that.

Causes vary with more than 20 options to choose from including: animals, veterans, arts, education, seniors, and health and wellness.

Dang it! One of my favorite events of all time has been cancelled for 2021. Death By Chocolate has been cancelled for 2021 and a date has been rescheduled for 2022.

I am the first one to admit I am not as charitable as I should be, and I blame a lot of that on money and finances. There are ways to be charitable this season, if you feel like you would like to be, without spending a dime.

South Central Community Action Partnership is celebrating their 20th annual 60 Hours to Fight Hunger to help feed families in the Magic Valley. The event starts on November 19th and runs until 10 p.m. on Saturday November 21st.
