A fundraiser has been planned in Elmore County for three young girls that were killed August 10 after being rear-ended by a drunk driver. The girls, ages three, five and six, were all wearing seat belts.
A 46-year-old Fairfield man is facing three counts of vehicular manslaughter and aggravated driving under the influence for crash early Saturday morning that claimed the life of three young children and injured two adults.
Brian Trappen is being charged with two counts of felony vehicular manslaughter, two felony counts of aggravated DUI and driving while suspended. According to court documents, on June 3, Trappen was traveling the wrong way on I-84 west near milepost 169 in Jerome County
