TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)- Jerome County Commissioners have given a provisional thumbs up for a jump by Texas dare devil Big Ed Beckley. County commissioners granted a provisional mass gathering permit on the Jerome side of the canyon Tuesday.

Folks have been responding all week to the City of Twin Falls denying Big Ed Beckley the chance to jump the canyon.  The jump would mark the 40th anniversary from Evel Knievel's original jump back in 1974.
