RUPERT, Idaho (KLIX) – For more than 100 years, Rupert has been Mini-Cassia’s focus come the Fourth of July. It’ll be the same this year – except this year there’ll be a couple of new events at Rupert’s annual five-day celebration.
The only Fourth of July episode of anything worth mentioning is the series finale of ‘The Wonder Years.’ Airing on May 12, 1993, an epilogue set during a Fourth of July parade became one of the most memorable television moments of the last 25 years.
Not only did I get to interview NASCAR racer Kenny Wallace, but he's coming to the Magic Valley! Yes, he will be at the Magic Valley Speedway on July 3rd to sign autographs AND participate in the 2nd Annual Race of Champions!

The question remains…will there be a 4th of July fireworks display this year on the CSI campus? The group soliciting donations for this year’s Fourth of July fireworks event needs to come up with about $15,000 by Monday in order to meet the $35,000 dollar goal.
