Magic Valley residents will want to attempt to get to the river or lake this weekend as triple-digit weather is on its way. The current forecast for the region is calling for highs to eclipse the 100-degree mark for three to four consecutive days beginning Friday.
Heat Advisory has been issued for most of the Magic Valley from the National Weather Service in Boise. People need to take extra precaution if they plan to be out in the heat.
If you have to be outside today the National Weather Service says be prepared for above normal temperatures and has issued a Heat Advisory and for some areas an Excessive Heat Warning.
A Heat Advisory has been issued for Western Magic Valley and Treasure Valley from 3 pm today (June 29, 2013) till 10 am Wednesday (July 3, 2012).
High temperatures can reach 103 or hotter and lower temperatures can reach 65 or warmer.
