Honestly I can't remember the last time I watched a show in real time on TV. With streaming services from Amazon, Hulu, and Netflix it is just so easy to watch your favorite shows on your own time without having to hit record.

Upfront season has already given us a few pickups, but so too must cancellations follow. FOX’s The Mindy Project has become the first high-profile casualty of the season, canceled after three full seasons, but with a twist: Hulu may already have stepped in to revive the acclaimed comedy.

As much as we like to imagen Seinfeld today, Hulu may soon corner the market on Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer’s exploits. The streaming service has announced an exclusive streaming deal for everyone’s favorite show about nothing, moving all 180 Seinfeld episodes onto Hulu for years to come.

In news that should surprise approximately no one, a new study from the University of Texas at Austin has discovered that “binge-watching” has been linked to depression, loneliness, and the inability to make wise decisions, like getting off the couch and doing anything else. Researchers Wei-Na Lee, Yoon Hi Sung and Eun Yeon Kang surveyed 316 people between the ages of 18 and 29, asking them about their mental and emotional states while they marathoned TV shows on Netflix (the study defined binge-watching as at least three episodes in a row).

Merciful Zeus, 'Community' may yet reach its "Six Seasons and a Movie" mantra after all. After NBC initially canceled the perpetually bubbled cult comedy, and even after Hulu reluctantly passed on an opportunity to save the series, Yahoo Screen stepped in at the last moment to reunite the Greendale Gang for 'Community' season 6.
