Work crews will begin searching for utilities this week near a future construction project in south Jerome

Idaho road managers want to reduce congestion on Idaho Highway 75 through the mountain resort community of Ketchum.

The public will get a chance to see the second phase of a road rehabilitation project in the city of Hailey at an upcoming public meeting.

The rehabilitation of Idaho Highway 25 from Eden to the interstate begins on June 1. Crews will be working from milepost 18, which is about four miles west of Eden, to Interstate 84 in Jerome County, according to the Idaho Transportation Department.

About eight miles of roadway between Bliss and Hagerman will be repaved beginning the first week in June.

The public will get a change to look at the final design plans for a section of U.S. Highway 93 in Jerome County at an open house this week.

Work will pick back up on Interstate 84 beginning the second week in March between Jerome and Twin Falls.

Blaine County has submitted a request to the Idaho Transportation Department to abandon a state highway spur that runs through Ketchum and Sun Valley.

The traffic pattern on a major interchange project east of Burley will change later this week so crews can tear down an old bridge.
