There have been approximately 1,500 cases of confirmed measles in the U.S. since 2010, according to a CDC report.

I remember hearing back in the day that when one child would get the chicken pox a parent would try to get all the kids in the family sick with a 'chicken pox party' so they would get it all over with at once. Now some anti vaccine parents are throwing 'Measles Parties' to build antibodies in their non-vaccinated kids.

In 2014 there were 644 cases of the measles in the United States. Crazy high number considering I thought measles was a disease only seen in history books and third world countries.
