Pillar Falls

There is a couple on YouTube who said they decided to quit their jobs and explore the world. Due to COVID 19 they came back to the United States and continue their adventures. They made a stop in Southern Idaho and it makes me wish it wasn't the last day of summer.

The Pillar Falls Fire started on July 20th around 11 p.m. located by Devil's Corral area.

Search and rescue crews are back on the water this morning looking for a missing BASE jumper on the Snake River below Twin Falls. The Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue Team has been looking for Austin Carey near Pillar Falls in the last several days and have asked that the public stay away and give crews room.

And in every direction you looked you were likely to spot a violation.

A 20-year-old North Carolina man nearly drowned at Pillar Falls Friday afternoon in Twin Falls.

A 14 year-old boy has been safely rescued from Pillar Falls. According to Lori Stewart with the Twin Falls County Sheriff's Department, the boy caught his foot in the rocks and several people helped to keep his head above the water.

UPDATE: The body of Joshua Squires was found and recovered just before 7 p.m. Thursday evening by search crews. TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)- Twin Falls Rescue crews are looking for a man in his early twenties that reportedly fell into the water at Pillar Falls Wednesday night.

Twin Falls looks pretty great from the ground most of the time. And, it looks even better from the air. YouTuber Marcus Jardine managed to capture all of the major sites around Twin Falls with a sweet drone and put it together into this spectacular video.
