As if it weren’t weird enough for ZZ Top use a commercial for Jeremiah Weed malt liquor to debut the first single from its upcoming new album, here’s something you may not have realized about the song itself: The new track, ‘I Gotsta Get Paid,’ is a thinly rewritten cover of ’25 Lighters,’ a local late ’90s hit for Houston hip-hop artists DJ DMD, Lil Keke, and MC Fat Pat.

So the chorus of this song goes roughly like this: "Somehow she's like gay, because she seems to know men as well as gays do. She must be playing gay with me, so I can now be like lesbian too." WOW! I'm sold! OK so I'm hoping that this dude just can't speak English...

An epic rap video called ‘Imdabess’ by YouTube user “gmcfosho” (aka Gil McRipley) is currently making the rounds on the internet, but for all the wrong reasons. It’s required viewing to be sure, but only because it’s so hilariously awful.

This video is horrible, I just hope it's a joke.  If it's not a joke, this guy has no real friends.  Because your real friends would tell you NO!

I know most of you know me as the person who talks randomness from two to seven PM, but I also write commercial copy throughout the day.  And most of what I write never makes it on air.  I believe that happens only because it is just so amazing, that it's ahead of it's time...
