Red Flag Warning

A Red Flag Warning will go into effect from 1 pm until 9 pm tonight.

xpected thunderstorms this afternoon could pose a fire threat to areas south of the Snake River in Twin Falls and Cassia Counties.

The U.S. National Weather Service in Idaho has issued a Red Flag Warning for the southwestern part of the state, including parts of the Magic Valley, while a Fire Weather Watch has been issued for the eastern part of the state.

The U.S. National Weather Service in has issued a Red Flag Warning for all of the southern portion of Idaho including most of Nevada, eastern Oregon and the western half of Utah.

With increasing heat and heavy winds predicted over the course of the next several days for southern and eastern Idaho, a warning has been issued as concerns for a potential fire are heightened.
