Twin Falls County government services are experiencing a disruption due to an internet outage.

Idaho's governor has appointed a state senator to lead the veteran services division. The office of Gov. C.L. "Butch" Otter announced the appointment of Sen. Marv Hagedorn to become the administrator for the Idaho Division of Veterans Services.

Maybe the government COULD get a little smaller and COULD abuse us with fewer taxes . . . if only we didn’t love every single thing it does so damn much. According to a new Harris poll, basically, Americans love every government program, don’t know what we’d ever do without them, and wouldn’t really cut any of them.
