As the saying goes, artists have their entire life to make a debut album. The next one? Not so much.

After taking a brief hiatus to focus on separate projects, they regrouped with a newly reaffirmed sense of purpose.

Motorhead take on Talking Heads in the first round of the Ultimate Classic Rock Hall of Fame.

It seems unlikely that we'll ever get new music from Talking Heads, but there are still unexplored corners of the band's legacy -- like 'Theme,' an instrumental track from their early years that's currently making the rounds online.

This October will see the premiere of 'CBGB," a movie about the legendary Manhattan club that witnessed the birth of punk. Yesterday (Aug. 2), the contents of the soundtrack were released, and it contains some of that scene's most familiar names.

David Byrne, former front man from the always quirky "Talking Heads", is an artist in the true sense of the word: Not only is he a musician, but he's also a songwriter, painter, director, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and the list goes on.
