The Rudest Thing Self-Important Coffee Jerks Do To Idaho Baristas
Coffee is one of the first things many people think about when their eyes open in the morning. For those who visit coffee houses on the way to work or to just get the day started, there are things that those who indulge daily do that drive baristas absolutely nuts.
I'm a big coffee fan. Most mornings I'll have between two and three cups. I switched from regular to decaffeinated coffee about three years ago because I can't notice a difference in taste anymore and I don't need the blood pressure spike.

Coffee sure has changed since I was in high school. No kids drank coffee in the nineties, and people weren't visiting drive-thru lines at all hours of the day back then either. I can't help but grin sometimes when I see a line wrapped around a coffee house at two o'clock in the afternoon on a weekday, but hey, to each their own.
I give my wife crap sometimes over her need for designer coffee. It's my opinion that humans have gotten ridiculous when it comes to their coffee, and some are just downright rude about it. Your morning (or afternoon or evening) coffee doesn't constitute an emergency, so don't treat others like it does.
My daughter has been a barista for about five years now, and I asked her what the most annoying thing about her customers was. Her response was the same as the one I found in a story by the Huffington Post.
"Holding up lines," she said. People acting as if they've never been to a coffee house they visit 600 times a year has got to be mind-numbing. Ninety-nine percent of the time they're holding up lines because they can't stay off their phones for more than seven seconds.
